Bridal Falls
On Victoria Day my brother and I both went to Bridal Falls with our family's. 14 people in all. Although we walked a bit to fast to do much exploring for neat photo idea's, Benj was very helpful pointing out interesting things to photograph. I find my hubby is very helpful pointing out things of interest, and often find that he spots the things that I probably would have missed. Yes, I think we make a great team! ;-)
I love the dreamy feel that the moss covered tree's gives to the forest. All that was missing was fog. We did the 15 min trail in about 5 minutes so I'll have to go back someday soon (before the squiters come!) and take my time walking the trail. Would really enjoying finding some more lichen too! They come in so many interesting shapes and sizes.

Our Canada Photo Contest
The Our Canada magazine is having it's annual photo contest again. I'm hoping to enter, but would love to have your vote on which pictures to enter. So please let me know which one is you favorite. Leave me a comment or email me at corjelier@gmail.com.

Lil' Critters 2
Moths, spit bugs, bees and a whole bunch of other critters were enjoying the sunshine today. It's amazing what you can see if you sit quietly in a sunny garden. I also had a nice bike ride with Syd this afternoon. We found several trees surrounded by sweet smelling white and purple phlox.

The little goslings aren't so little anymore and the parents aren't quite to protective anymore so I was able to get close enough for a picture of the little ones resting in the tall grass along the water. The yellow iris's along the water right now are in full bloom, as are the colombines in my front porch garden.

Worth a 1000 words!
One of my favorite subjects is close-ups of natures little critters, therefore the ladybug!
I like the picture of the laundry line, not because the shot itself is that great but because of the story it tells. The bright greens say spring, the uniforms say that the kids who live here must go to a private school, the boys obviously love hockey, and somewhere behind the scenes is a mom doing piles of laundry. Sure glad that it's dry weather again. Nothing like line dried sheets!

A quick visit to Minter Gardens
Today I took a quick walk through Minter Gardens. I haven't been for a week or two and really wanted to see the tulips before they're finished blooming. As you can tell, I'm having a bit of fun with my new photo shop program. There is so much to learn that I feel as though I've only scratched the surface. The gate with the wheel is on CampRiver Road.
