Ingrid and Marinus Van Brugge's Wedding

The wedding of Ingrid and Marinus was probably one of the most wonderful weddings I've been to.  From Ingrid's friends helping her get ready to walk down the aisle, to the two of them entering the reception hall on a tandem  bike, the whole day was filled with special moments.
I only took the casual pictures for the day and Urban Fig Photography  http://urbanfigphotography.com/  took the official portraits.   You can see those pictures, including some super awesome ones they did with a bright red mustang by going to her blog.

The wedding flowers were simply beautiful!

This special moment between Ingrid and her grandmother is probably one of my favorite pictures of the whole day.

Many of the grade 3 class came out to see their teacher get married!

This has to be the most original reception entrance ever!!!!

Dessert was an ice cream sundae buffet.

Carlie's Prom Pictures

When Carlie first asked if I would be willing to take her prom pictures, I'll admit I was rather nervous.  After all, I'm more confident taking pictures of plants and animals then of people.  I was a bit worried I wouldn't do the event justice.  Of course I need not have worried, Carlie and her boyfriend Thomas know how to rock a photo shoot!  Carlie wanted to take most of her pictures at Minter Gardens, and as many of you know, this is one of my favorite places in town.  Right from the start these two were a blast to work with.  So thank you Carlie for letting me be a small part of your special day!  Congratulations!  I wish you all the best for the future!

Stopping to smell the Tulips.

About town.

This duck would not get off the road. The poor old fellow was honking away at it, but it still wouldn't move. Finally the guy from across the road walked over to move the duck. And me...I was watching this when I finally remembered I had my camera handy!
