Nothing beats the fall for brilliance of colour. I just can't get enough of all the vibrant shades of red, orange and yellow that are everywhere right now. Even on a rain day it's hard not to be cheered by nature celebrating around us. Even on cool evenings it's nice to sit outdoors and enjoy the smell of a neighbors woodstove while sipping a hot cup of cider and wrapped in a warm handmade afghan.

Mushrooms

Those who know me well know I love mushrooms! I'm not really sure how it all got started but over time I've seen some really interesting one's. One of my boy's saw these two tucked underneath some cedar trees along the road.

Fall is here again in all it's vibrant beauty. The air is crisp and the countryside is a buzz with activity. Farmers are harvesting corn and getting off that last crop of grass, garders are enjoying the nice weather as it gives us all an opportunity to clean up the flower beds in the sunshine.
